Privacy Policy
What information Consumers Health Journal collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Last updated June 9, 2026.
This policy explains what information Consumers Health Journal (“we”) collects when you visit consumershealthjournal.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can.
What we collect
Email address, if you subscribe. When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide. That is the only information the subscribe form asks for.
Standard technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting and analytics record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring site. We use this in aggregate to understand what content readers find useful and to keep the site running.
Cookies. We use a minimal set of cookies for site functionality and analytics. We do not run third-party advertising networks on the site.
How we use it
We use your email address to send you the newsletter you signed up for, and nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share our subscriber list with anyone.
We use aggregate analytics to decide what to write, fix broken pages, and measure whether the site is doing its job.
Third-party services
A few services process data on our behalf.
Email delivery. Our newsletter is sent through a third-party email service provider, which stores subscriber addresses on our behalf.
Hosting and analytics. Our hosting provider and analytics tooling process the standard technical data described above.
Affiliate links. Some articles may contain affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer or affiliate network may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Our affiliate disclosure explains how these links work.
Your choices
Unsubscribe any time. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from the list.
Request your data, or its deletion. Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California give you formal rights to this. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.
Block cookies. Your browser can block or delete cookies. The site will still work.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle subscriber data will be announced in the newsletter.
